Our restaurant is located in Hope, BC, and fully serves a wide range of Japanese-style cuisine, and offers take-out and dine-in service enjoyed by locals and visitors alike at reasonable prices. Now, we are hiring an experienced Cook.

Employer: EK KIBO TRADING LTD. (o/a Kibo Japanese Grill & Cafe)

Position: Cook

Main duties:

-Prepare and cook food according to recipes such as various dons, noodles, appetizers, and tempura, etc.
-Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
-Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
-Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
-Clean kitchen and work area.

Requirement:

– Completion of secondary school.
– 2 years or more experience as a commercial cook.

Wage and working hours: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour with 30-40 hours a week.
